Raffle Guarantees Wednesday Winners

Raffle Guarantees Wednesday Winners

The Lotto Raffle game is very popular amongst lottery players for two good reasons. First, an entry to it is automatically included with every line of numbers purchased for the main Lotto draw. And second, every Lotto Raffle guarantees 50 winners of £20,000, and that applies regardless of whether the main Lotto jackpot is won or it rolls over. That jackpot tonight will be worth an estimated £2.1 million, so anyone who fancies winning big in time for the weekend might do well to have a go at landing it!

One UK lottery player who would no doubt be delighted to sing the praises of raffle-style games is the EuroMillions participant who matched the Millionaire Maker code last night. That code was WDB637689 and it netted the winning player a cool £1 million, which was just as well because the main EuroMillions jackpot of £10.57 million rolled over.

The EuroMillions results on Tuesday 14 July were 06, 18, 19, 34 and 36, and the Lucky Stars were 01 and 08. Whilst no player matched all seven numbers to win the jackpot itself, three tickets that had been purchased outside the UK succeeded in matching all five main numbers plus one of the Lucky Star numbers to win a second tier prize of €303,065 each.

There were four winning tickets at the third tier, two of which had been bought by UK participants, and each of those won £59,195 by matching the five main numbers only. Another 46 tickets won their owners £2,573 each by matching four main numbers as well as both of the Lucky Stars, and over 1.43 million smaller prizes were won across the lower tiers. EuroMillions players in the UK won a total of more than £2.18 million in prize money, and that doesn’t include the £1 million Millionaire Maker prize mentioned earlier, so well done to everyone concerned.

The next EuroMillions game this Friday 17 July will now offer a rollover jackpot worth around £17 million, and there will be another guaranteed winner of £1 million in the Millionaire Maker game on the same night. Before we get to that, we have the midweek Lotto jackpot of around £2.1 million and 50 Lotto Raffle prizes of £20,000 each to play for this evening. Good luck to those of you who intend to get involved, and be sure to let us know if you win big!
