Lotto Players Seek Midweek Millions
Lotto players are looking to win themselves financial freedom in the midweek draw that takes place tonight. The jackpot in the previous draw was scooped by a single ticket, so fans of the game are hoping for a similar outcome this time around. The jackpot is expected to be worth somewhere in the region of £2 million, but even if that prize rolls over there are sure to be plenty of consolation prize winners, and 50 players are guaranteed to win £20,000 each in the Lotto Raffle game.
The desire for a jackpot win in the midweek Lotto game tonight will be even more pronounced because no player was able to win the top prize in the EuroMillions game last night. The EuroMillions results on Tuesday 18 August were 07, 10, 11, 12 and 19, with the numbers 02 and 09 appearing as the Lucky Stars, and the jackpot that rolled over had a final value of £10,582,500.
Four tickets matched all five of the main numbers plus one Lucky Star number to win a second tier prize worth £175,227 each, and two of those tickets had been purchased by players in the UK. There were 12 tickets that won their owners £19,469 each by matching five main numbers only, and another 73 entries matched four main numbers and both of the Lucky Stars to win £1,600 each.
As usual, the consolation prizes at the lower levels were rather more modest, but over 1.92 million prizes were won in total, and tickets purchased in this country collectively landed more than £2.38 million. In addition, the Millionaire Raffle code was JHB058738, so the player who matched that number can now claim a life-changing prize of £1 million.
Lottery fans will now have the chance to play for a rollover jackpot worth an estimated £17 million in the next EuroMillions game on Friday, but first they can seek the midweek millions that are on offer in tonight’s Lotto draw. The most overdue Lotto numbers at the time of writing are 11, 09, 34, 43, 19 and 37, so do watch out for those and, whatever numbers you choose to play for yourself, we wish you the very best of luck!Published: Wednesday 19th August 2015
