Lotto Players Chase Eight Figures

Lotto Players Chase Eight Figures

Lotto players will be chasing a jackpot worth eight figures in the midweek draw which takes place this evening, and that is thanks to rollovers having occurred in each of the four previous draws. Tonight’s quadruple rollover jackpot is expected to be worth around £14.5 million, and the only thing standing between any player and the legal right to claim that prize is the ability to match all six of the main numbers that will be drawn.

The first EuroMillions game of the week took place last night, but no ticket was able to match all seven numbers, so the £24.8 million jackpot rolled over. The results of the draw on Tuesday 8 March were 01, 08, 09, 14 and 23, and the Lucky Star numbers were 01 and 07.

Seven tickets matched the five main numbers and one of the Lucky Star numbers to win a second tier prize of £109,182 each, and two of those tickets had been purchased right here in the UK. For the second draw in a row, no UK ticket won a third tier prize, but six tickets that had been purchased elsewhere won €58,106 each by matching five main numbers only.

There were 62 tickets that picked up a fourth tier prize of £2,054 each by matching four main numbers and both of the Lucky Star numbers, and lesser prizes were landed by over 1.96 million entries across the lower levels. The Millionaire Maker code on Tuesday was CDV579595, and the player with the matching ticket can now claim the associated prize of £1 million.

Followers of our Lottery Statistics were rewarded with the appearance of two of the most overdue numbers last night (the main number 08 and the Lucky Star number 07) as well as one of the most common numbers (the main number 23). The jackpot in the next EuroMillions game this Friday 11 March will be worth an estimated £32 million.

Lottery players who would like to include one or more of the most overdue numbers on their play slip for tonight’s midweek Lotto draw should be considering the numbers 45, 49, 07, 24, 20 and 03. The most common Lotto numbers are 23, 40, 38, 33, 30 and 25.

Whilst we can only hope that someone will win the £14.5 million quadruple rollover jackpot in tonight’s Lotto game, we can be certain that someone will become £1 million richer thanks to the Lotto Millionaire Raffle game, and another 20 tickets will just as surely win a Lotto Raffle prize of £20,000 each. Feel free to equip your mobile with one of our free lottery apps so that you can check your numbers just as soon as the draw has taken place and be sure to let us know if you win big!
