Lotto Won as EuroMillions Approaches
The first Lotto jackpot since the new rules were introduced was landed in a fantastic style on Wednesday night, with one ticket matching all six of the main numbers that were drawn to win a colossal £14,612,465. The numbers that made that win happen on Wednesday 21 October were 13, 14, 21, 25, 51 and 53, and the Bonus Ball number – which was irrelevant to the jackpot winner – was 39. Lotto players can now look forward to pursuing a brand new jackpot of around £4.4 million in the next game this Saturday 24 October.
Whilst it was good to see someone win the triple rollover jackpot, it was also surprising to see absolutely nobody winning a prize at the second tier consolation level. The good news is that there were plenty of winners at the lower levels, and 43 tickets won £1,640 each by matching five main numbers only. Another 2,912 tickets won £156 each by matching four main numbers, and over 960,000 were won by entries matching fewer numbers.
The Lotto Millionaire Raffle number on Wednesday night was ROSE 3461 4218, so if you have that on any of your tickets you can now claim a prize of £1 million. Another 20 Lotto Raffle numbers were worth £20,000 each to those who matched them, and the full list of those winning numbers can be viewed on our Lotto Results page.
It will be interesting to see whether or not the next Lotto jackpot will be won on Saturday, but first we need to see how players fare in the EuroMillions game on Friday. The jackpot, which has rolled over in each of the last two draws, will be worth an estimated £22 million, and players who are stuck for inspiration when choosing their numbers can look to our EuroMillions Statistics page for ideas. The most overdue main numbers right now are 25, 38, 24, 41 and 46, and the most overdue Lucky Star numbers are 06 and 04.
We congratulate the midweek Lotto winner, as well as the Lotto Millionaire Raffle winner and everyone who picked up a consolation prize of some kind. Good luck to those of you who will be trying to win big in the EuroMillions and Lotto games this Friday and Saturday, and remember to let us know if you succeed!Thursday 22nd October 2015
