Lotto Jackpot Split Two Ways

Lotto Jackpot Split Two Ways

The Lotto jackpot on Saturday 19 November was split in half after two tickets matched all of the numbers required to land the top prize. The Lotto results were 01, 29, 31, 32, 34 and 36, and the Bonus Ball was 45. The jackpot had a final value of £7,335,982, so each of the two lucky winners is now £3,667,991 richer than they were on Friday night. Of course, it is too early to know exactly who the winners are, but we will bring you details as and when possible if either of them choose to go public at some point, so watch this space.

There were five second-tier prize winners in the Lotto game last Saturday, and each of those fortunate participants won £306,982 for matching five of the main numbers plus the Bonus Ball. 330 players matched five main numbers but without the Bonus Ball to win £2,907 each, so in this case the Bonus Ball made a difference of more than £304,000! Over 400,000 other tickets won either £105 or £10 each by matching four or three main numbers, respectively.

All of that Lotto action took place just one day after the EuroMillions jackpot rolled over on Friday 18 November. The main numbers drawn in the EuroMillions game were 04, 12, 24, 39 and 44, and the Lucky Star numbers were 02 and 04. Seven tickets (two of which were purchased in the UK) won a second-tier prize of £163,623 each by matching the five main numbers and one of the two Lucky Stars.

11 tickets (two bought in the UK) matched five main numbers only to win £34,708 each. The total number of EuroMillions prizes won last Friday exceeded 2.84 million, and the Millionaire Raffle number that made one UK player £1 million richer was SVB074386. Because the jackpot itself wasn’t won, the jackpot for the next EuroMillions game this Tuesday 22 November will be worth around £18 million.

We offer our congratulations to everyone who won a lottery prize last Friday or Saturday, and we wish you all the best of luck in trying to win even more this week. Buy your lottery tickets online today and if you don’t become a multi-millionaire in the EuroMillions game on Tuesday you just might land the £2.2 million Lotto jackpot on Wednesday!
