Lotto Jackpot Split Four Ways

Lotto Jackpot Split Four Ways

The Lotto jackpot had to be split four ways when that many tickets correctly matched all six main numbers on Saturday 19 June. Fortunately the jackpot had rolled over from the previous midweek draw on Wednesday, so it was worth £8,134,820. That gave each of the four winning tickets a value of £2,033,705, so all of the jackpot winners have at least a couple of million reasons to celebrate. As for everyone else, there is a £2.4 million Lotto jackpot to play for this Wednesday 23 June and a £23 million EuroMillions rollover jackpot up for grabs this Friday, so play today and your midsummer nights dream of lottery success just might come true!

The lottery results last Saturday 19 June were 34, 37, 39, 41, 42 and 47, and the Bonus Ball was 45, so anyone who included one or more days of the month among their selections was well and truly scuppered by this draw. All of the numbers identified as those being overdue to be drawn on our EuroMillions Statistics page also failed to make an appearance.

In this situation you might have expected the Lotto jackpot to roll over again, but the fact that there were four lottery winners is evidence that plenty of players have started thinking ‘outside the box’ when making their selections. Either that or the winners all elected to play random numbers, perhaps using the Lucky Dip feature. We may find out more about that side of things if one or more of the winners chooses to opt for publicity at some point.

As well as the four jackpot winners, there were plenty of people who won smaller prizes in the Lotto game last Saturday. 31 players matched five main numbers plus the Bonus Ball to win a second-tier prize of £53,948 each, whilst 483 players matched five main numbers only and won £2,164 each.

Those of you who want to consider including one or more ‘overdue’ numbers among your selections for the next Lotto draw will be interested to note that these are 07, 13, 18, 43, 35 and 38. If you would prefer to leave your selections to chance, why not put our Number Generator to good use? Whichever approach you take, buy lottery tickets online today and this Wednesday could well bring you a midweek fortune!
