Lotto Jackpot Rolls to Saturday

Lotto Jackpot Rolls to Saturday

There was a brand new Lotto jackpot on offer in the midweek game last night, but no ticket entered was able to match all six of the main numbers, so the jackpot has now rolled over to the next game this Saturday. For those of you who haven't yet checked your tickets, the Lotto results on Wednesday 24 September were 04, 08, 29, 33, 38 and 48, and the Bonus Ball number was 15. The top prize had a final value of £2,276,815 and so the next game this Saturday will offer a jackpot with an estimated value of £5.7 million.

Although the top prize gave players the slip, it was a very different story at the lower prize levels, and the biggest winners were four tickets that gave their owners a second tier consolation prize worth £45,433 each by matching five main numbers and the Bonus Ball. The third tier saw 111 tickets match five main numbers without the Bonus Ball to win £1,390 each, demonstrating once again just how much of a difference the Bonus Ball can make in the right circumstances.

There were 6,804 tickets that matched four main numbers only to win a third tier prize of £119 each, and another 130,265 tickets won £25 each by matching three main numbers. The Lotto Raffle game created 50 winners of £20,000 each, and the next one this Saturday will create another 100 winners of the same amount thanks to the rollover in the main game.

Midweek Health Lottery players weren't any more successful than their Lotto counterparts as far as winning the top prize was concerned, because no player was able to match all five of the main numbers that were drawn. The Health Lottery results were 05, 14, 25, 34 and 45, and the Bonus Ball was 35. Whilst no entry succeeded in winning the top prize of £100,000, more than 4,000 entries were able to win consolation prizes of up to £10,000 each.

Lottery players can now look forward to playing for not one but two rollover jackpots over the next few days. On Friday the EuroMillions game will offer a jackpot worth around £20 million, and then on Saturday the Lotto game will offer a top prize of around £5.7 million. Head this way to buy your tickets from the comfort of you own home and you just might spend this weekend celebrating a life-changing win!
