Lotto Jackpot Reaches Eight Figures!

Lotto Jackpot Reaches Eight Figures!

It used to be the case (or at least it seemed to be) that the stars had to align in a particularly rare manner in order for the value of the Lotto jackpot to reach eight figures, but it has now made the task look easy after just two draws under the new rules. A second consecutive rollover in the midweek game on Wednesday means that the next game this Saturday will offer a jackpot with an estimated value of £12.1 million, and when you preface that with a EuroMillions jackpot of around £11 million on Friday, we think the end of the week should be pretty exciting.

The Lotto results on Wednesday 14 October were 07, 13, 20, 27, 39 and 52, with the number 35 appearing as the Bonus Ball. We have already established that the top prize tier was vacant of winners, but it was a very different story at the non-jackpot levels. The biggest consolation prizes were landed at the second tier, where two tickets matched five of the main numbers plus the Bonus Ball to win £29,645 each, so well done to the lucky players concerned.

There were 67 tickets that won their owners £931 each by matching five main numbers only, and another 4,422 entries matched four main numbers to win £91 each. There were more than 1.02 million tickets that won smaller prizes, and 21 Lotto Raffle prizes were also landed. The Lotto Millionaire Raffle number, which was worth £1 million to the player with the matching ticket, was RUBY 2155 8988.

With 59 numbers now in play, Lotto fans will be wondering if they will see three jackpot rollovers in a row, or whether someone will land the £12.1 million that is up for grabs on Saturday. We will know the answer to that question soon enough, but first we need to focus on how players will fare in the Friday EuroMillions draw. The most overdue main numbers as we approach that game are 25, 38, 24, 28 and 41, and the most overdue Lucky Star numbers are 06 and 04, so do watch out for those, and feel free to visit our EuroMillions Statistics page to see how other numbers have performed.

The Millionaire Maker and Lotto Millionaire Raffle games guarantee that at least two UK players will win £1 million each in the next few days, so celebrations will certainly be in order for some. Good luck with your tickets in both the EuroMillions and Lotto games and have a great weekend!
