Lotto Jackpot Excitement Builds
Lottery players are getting increasingly excited about the jackpot in the Lotto game, which has rolled over in each of the last eight draws and will be worth an estimated £28.5 million to anyone who matches all six of the main numbers that will be drawn tonight. There are just three Lotto draws to go before Christmas, including the one that will take place this evening, so players who want to win themselves multi-millionaire status in time for the holidays will want to take advantage of every remaining opportunity to win, and understandably so!
Of course, the EuroMillions game is also perfectly capable of creating brand new millionaires, but it didn’t manage to do that in the most recent draw. The EuroMillions results on Tuesday 15 December were 08, 11, 23, 27 and 35, with the numbers 04 and 11 appearing as the Lucky Stars, but the fact that nobody matched all of those numbers meant that nobody won the £51.59 million jackpot that was up for grabs.
Three tickets, all of which had been purchased outside the UK, won €419,210 each by matching all five of the main numbers as well as one of the Lucky Star numbers. Another 13 tickets matched the five main numbers only to win £24,815 each, and there were 50 winners of £3,226 each at the third tier. The total number of EuroMillions consolation prizes won was 2,258,547, and the total amount of cash landed by players in the UK was £2,598,544. In addition, one UK player won £1,000,000 by matching the Millionaire Maker code, which was YTZ794237.
The next EuroMillions game on Friday will offer a jackpot worth around £60 million, but the £28.5 million that is available in the midweek Lotto game is the thing that is currently dominating the thoughts of lottery players in the UK. For those of you who enjoy following the Lotto Statistics, the most overdue numbers to look out for in the draw this evening are 01, 19, 04, 48, 06 and 33.
With the Lotto jackpot having rolled over eight times in a row, the lottery community is definitely looking forward to seeing if someone can bring the sequence to an end by winning the £28.5 million that is expected to be available tonight. Good luck to those of you who will be taking part, and remember to get in touch if you manage to win big!Wednesday 16th December 2015
