Lotto Game Making Rollover History!

Lotto Game Making Rollover History!

The Lotto game is currently making history with every draw thanks to the fact that its jackpot has now eluded players seven times in a row. This simply wasn’t possible under the previous Lotto rules, because the maximum number of rollovers allowed was four, but when the new rules came into force in October, that maximum was removed. The big question now is how long the extended sequence of rollovers will last, and whether it will be brought to an end by a single ticket or shared between multiple winners.

The Lotto results on Wednesday 9 December were 03, 08, 14, 28, 34 and 53, and the number 32 was drawn as the Bonus Ball. Although no player was able to win the jackpot, plenty of tickets were just one number away from succeeding at the highest level. One of those tickets matched five of the main numbers plus the Bonus Ball to win £70,614, whilst 59 tickets matched the five main numbers only to win a third tier prize worth £1,259 each.

There were 5,118 entries that won £93 each by matching four main numbers, and another 120,008 tickets matched three main numbers to win £25 each. Over 1.1 million other tickets won their owners a free Lucky Dip entry for the next game after matching two main numbers, and 20 Lotto Raffle prizes of £20,000 each were also won. The Lotto Millionaire Raffle number on Wednesday, which was worth £1 million to the player matching the same, was TEAL 0427 7643.

The next Lotto game this Saturday 12 December will now offer a multi-rollover jackpot worth around £26.3 million, and players who want to get involved are being advised to buy their tickets early in order to avoid the last minute rush in retail outlets. None of the most overdue numbers appeared on Wednesday, so the numbers to watch out for on Saturday continue to be 01, 19, 48, 04, 06 and 22.

Before we get to that Lotto game, we have an even bigger EuroMillions jackpot of around £44 million to play for on Friday. The most overdue main numbers for that game are 24, 41, 05, 31 and 44, whilst the most overdue Lucky Star numbers are 05 and 03.

Whatever numbers you choose to play in the EuroMillions and Lotto games this Friday and Saturday, good luck and have a great weekend!
