Lotto Fans Seek Midweek Millions
Lotto fans are counting down the hours to tonight’s midweek draw, which will give them a chance to win a brand new jackpot worth an estimated £2 million. Whether or not anyone manages to match all six main numbers, plenty of consolation prizes will be landed and the associated Lotto Raffle game will award a prize of £20,000 to each of 50 winners, guaranteed. That means there will be a multitude of people who will end today having experienced a massive transformation in their financial lives, and you could be one of them!
There were lots of lottery players who experienced a similar transformation last night thanks to the EuroMillions game, which produced the main numbers 23, 32, 36, 43 and 49, along with the Lucky Star numbers 07 and 08. Those EuroMillions results for Tuesday 28 July didn’t help anyone to win the £10.6 million jackpot that was up for grabs, but they did enable three players – two of them in the UK – to win £236,017 each by matching all five main numbers and one Lucky Star.
Seven tickets matched five main numbers only to win £33,716 each at the third tier, and one of those lucky entries had been purchased by a player in this country. The fourth prize tier saw 28 tickets win £4,214 each by matching four main numbers as well as both of the Lucky Stars, and more than 1.3 million smaller prizes were won at the lower tiers. Another prize of £1 million was won by the UK player who matched the Millionaire Maker code BFF084548, and that helped to bring the total amount of cash won by UK participants to more than £3.49 million.
The next EuroMillions game on Friday will offer a rollover jackpot worth around £17 million. In addition, there will be 10 Mega Friday winners of £1 million each, and those winners will also enjoy the trip of a lifetime to New York City.
We will talk more about the EuroMillions Mega Friday game closer to the time, but right now we should bring our focus back to the mouth-watering £2 million that is up for grabs in tonight’s midweek Lotto draw. The most overdue numbers for that game, according to our Lotto Statistics page, are 16, 44, 31, 11, 09 and 34, so do watch out for those and good luck with your entries!Published: Wednesday 29th July 2015
