Lotto and Lotto Millionaire Raffle Results for Wednesday 8th June, 2016

Lotto and Lotto Millionaire Raffle Results for Wednesday 8th June, 2016

The Lotto game this Saturday 11th June will offer its biggest jackpot since the end of April, thanks to no ticket being able to win the £16.66 million prize that was up for grabs on Wednesday. The estimated value of the next Lotto jackpot is £19.7 million, and that figure has been reached on the back of six consecutive rollovers. As usual, there will also be one guaranteed winner of £1 million in the Lotto Millionaire Raffle draw, and 20 Lotto Raffle winners of £20,000 each.

The Lotto results on Wednesday 8th June were 28, 33, 43, 49, 55 and 58, with the number 21 appearing as the Bonus Ball. Two of those numbers had been highlighted on our Lotto Statistics page – the number 33 as being one of the most common, and the number 43 as one of the most overdue – but unfortunately that didn’t help anyone to match all six.

There were 29 tickets that fell just one main number short of landing the jackpot. One of those tickets also matched the Bonus Ball to secure a second tier prize of £52,726, and the rest matched the five main numbers only to win £1,982 each.

A fourth tier prize of £163 went to each of 2,190 tickets that matched four main numbers, and 54,800 tickets which matched three main numbers won £25 each. More than 585,000 tickets matched two main numbers to win a free entry to the next game, and the total amount of cash won in the main game exceeded £1.83 million.

The winning Lotto Millionaire Raffle number on Wednesday was GOLD 8209 7080, so the ticket bearing that number is now worth £1 million. In addition, 20 players won £20,000 each in the Lotto Raffle draw, and the full list of winning numbers can be found on our Lotto Results page.

All of that gives lottery players two massive jackpots to try and win before next week. The EuroMillions jackpot on Friday will be worth around £65 million and, as we said earlier, the Lotto game on Saturday will offer a top prize of around £19.7 million. Buy your tickets early to secure your chance of winning in both games, and good luck with your numbers!
