Lotto and Lotto Millionaire Raffle Results for Saturday 9th April 2016
A momentous week for Lotto players ended in spectacular style on Saturday 9th April with ten ticket holders winning £1 million thanks to the Lotto Millionaire Raffle. There was to be no repeat of Wednesday’s record-breaking jackpot success, but over 1.3 million participants picked up prizes on an incredible night.
The Lotto numbers drawn were 20, 22, 25, 34, 47 and 51 with Bonus Ball 18. Although nobody landed the jackpot, there were some fabulous prizes given away spreading from a free Lotto Lucky Dip for matching two main numbers up to £1,705 for matching five main numbers.
Legions of fans were spurred into buying tickets by the promise of ten new millionaires being created in a special event draw to mark the start of the tenth series of Britain’s Got Talent, which is this year being sponsored by Lotto. As the show kicked off with a varied assortment of singers, dancers and even a Moldovan sword swallower, the Lotto Millionaire Raffle left players jumping for joy and doing cartwheels in their living rooms by announcing which ten codes were worth £1 million, as well as another 20 codes worth £20,000 each. Check out the Lotto Results section for the all-important winning codes, as well as a full Lotto prize breakdown.
Saturday’s amazing giveaways kept the feel-good factor going after one lucky player won £35.1 million in Wednesday’s draw, and in the process became the biggest winner of a single prize in the history of the game. The largest jackpot ever won, £66 million, was split between two ticket holders back in January.
Another player is guaranteed to win £1 million in Wednesday’s Lotto Millionaire Raffle and the jackpot will stand at £6.7 million.
