Lotto and Lotto Millionaire Raffle Results for Saturday 10th October 2015

Lotto and Lotto Millionaire Raffle Results for Saturday 10th October 2015

Lotto history was made on Saturday 10th October as the first draw took place since a number of changes were made to the game and, to mark the event, more millionaires were created on a single night that at any time since the launch of the National Lottery in 1994. There were 25 players who won £1 million each in a special edition of the new Lotto Millionaire Raffle, while over 1.6 million other ticket holders picked up prizes.

The Lotto numbers drawn were 2, 3, 16, 32, 53 and 54 with Bonus Ball 8. The pool of numbers has increased from 49 to 59, and nobody was quite able to match all six main balls to land the jackpot of £5.2 million. One participant came close as they matched five main numbers plus the Bonus Ball to scoop £120,570, while 61 players pocketed £2,080 for matching five main numbers.

In a momentous draw, it was also the first time that a new prize tier had come into effect, rewarding players for matching just two main numbers. There were 1,519,930 ticket holders who fell into this category on Saturday evening and, whereas previously they would have won nothing, on this occasion they will all receive a free Lucky Dip. The other prizes given away were £25 for matching three main numbers and £161 for matching four main numbers.

Visit the Lotto Results section for a full breakdown and to discover those all-important winning Lotto Millionaire Raffle codes. As well as the 25 codes worth £1 million, there are an additional 20 codes each worth £20,000.

There will be a guaranteed millionaire in every Lotto draw from now on, with future Lotto Millionaire Raffles giving away one prize of £1 million, plus 20 prizes of £20,000. See the Changes to Lotto page for full details of how the game has been adapted. The Lotto jackpot will climb to £7.7 million for the next draw on Wednesday so make sure to buy tickets online or from authorised retailers. Those players who matched two main numbers on Saturday, remember, will also be able to play for free. Good luck!
