Lottery Rollover Fever Continues

Lottery Rollover Fever Continues

You will be forgiven for having a strong sense of déjà vu as you read these words because we have to tell you that the lottery rollover fever which has gripped the continent in recent weeks is set to continue for at least a few more days. The EuroMillions jackpot reached the dizzy heights of £101 million for the draw on Friday 2 September, but nobody won the top prize and so the jackpot rolls to Tuesday 6 September and will have an estimated value of £110 million. The Lotto jackpot on Saturday 3 September also eluded players and has rolled over to this Wednesday 7 September with an estimated value of £6.6 million.

Those of you who participated in the EuroMillions game last Friday but have yet to check your numbers will be interested to note that the main numbers drawn were 12, 26, 37, 38 and 44, whilst the Lucky Stars were 04 and 07. The Millionaire Raffle number (worth £1 million to one UK EuroMillions player) was RLG667879.

Seven EuroMillions players matched the five main numbers and one of the Lucky Star numbers to win £245,597 each. 17 players won a third-tier prize of £33,709 each by matching five main numbers only and another 112 players matched four of the main numbers plus both Lucky Stars to win £2,558 each. Over 4 million EuroMillions prizes were won in total, which really says something about the number of tickets that were puchased for the draw!

The Lotto results on Saturday were 04, 17, 20, 26, 29 and 36, and the Bonus Ball was 31. As we have already said, the jackpot in this game also rolled over, but 15 players did win a second-tier prize of £85,592 each by matching five of the main numbers plus the Bonus Ball number. There were 532 third-tier prize winners and each of those won £1,508 by matching five main numbers only.

Although rollovers in both big lottery games last Friday and Saturday would have disappointed some, it does mean that we have even more to play for this week. Buy your lottery tickets online today and if you don’t win the £110 million jackpot in the EuroMillions game on Tuesday you just might win the £6.6 million Lotto jackpot on Wednesday. Enjoy both games and good luck!
