Lottery Results Increase Excitement
The lottery results last Friday and Saturday increased the excitement among players, and they did so in two different ways. First, the EuroMillions results gave us yet another rollover, which means that there will now be a gargantuan jackpot of around £157 million to play for this Tuesday. Then, on Saturday, the Lotto results created another outright jackpot winner, which means that the winning trend which has been in place since the beginning of the month continues with just two more June Lotto draws to go!
The main numbers drawn in the EuroMillions game on Friday 21 June were 10, 11, 30, 36 and 45, and the Lucky Star numbers were 01 and 02. There were eight tickets that matched the five main numbers plus one of the Lucky Star numbers to secure a second-tier prize of £280,394 each, and we are delighted to report that two of those tickets had been purchased right here in the UK.
UK players fared very well at the lower consolation levels too. 18 tickets (6 of which were purchased in the UK) matched five main numbers only to win £41,539 each and more than 5.18 million tickets won smaller prizes. The total amount of EuroMillions prize money won by Brits on Friday was £9,071,885, and another UK player won a separate prize of £1,000,000 by matching the Millionaire Raffle number QVS068423.
The Lotto results for Saturday 22 June were 08, 24, 26, 28, 36 and 43, and the Bonus Ball number was 34. We have already said that one ticket won the jackpot outright, but we haven’t yet said how much that jackpot was worth, and the answer is £3,806,512. There were 14 tickets that matched five of the main numbers plus the Bonus Ball to win £83,659 each, and over 471,000 tickets won smaller prizes by matching five, four or three main numbers. The next Lotto game this Wednesday will offer a brand new jackpot worth around £2 million.
In the Health Lottery game on Saturday night, the main numbers drawn were 03, 12, 34, 39 and 49, whilst the Bonus Ball was 16. There was no ticket that matched all five main numbers, but more than 7,800 tickets matched enough numbers to win a consolation prize of some sort.
All of that brings us nicely up to date, so we can now concentrate on the excitement that is scheduled for the week ahead. The action kicks off with the EuroMillions game this Tuesday, so if you fancy your chances of winning £157 million, visit this page to buy your tickets online and good luck!
