Lottery Players Eager for Independence Day
Updated: Friday 1st July 2016
The 4th of July is Independence Day in the USA, but lottery players in the UK are also hoping to celebrate by acquiring independence of the financial kind in the games coming up over the next few days. The EuroMillions game this evening will offer a rollover jackpot worth around £19 million, and then on Saturday the Lotto game will boast a quadruple rollover jackpot worth an estimated £14.6 million.
Whilst there is no guarantee that the jackpot in either of the games just mentioned will be landed, two lottery players are certain to win themselves £1 million each thanks to the associated Millionaire Maker and Lotto Millionaire Raffle games. That small but significant fact will ensure that at least two players in this country will have more than enough reason to smile about Independence Day on Monday.
Of course, anyone who wins one of the forthcoming jackpots in the main games will have even more cause to celebrate over the first weekend of the month, and our Lottery Statistics pages may prove helpful to those who want some inspiration for the numbers they choose to play. The most overdue numbers as we approach the EuroMillions game are 47, 29, 20, 03 and 22, along with the Lucky Star numbers 06 and 02, and for the Lotto game this Saturday the most overdue numbers are 16, 50, 15, 42, 59 and 05.
Players are advised to purchase their entries well ahead of time to avoid any potential last-minute glitches, and it would also be a good idea to download one of our free lottery apps so that you can check your numbers – and make any required claim – just as soon as the draws have taken place.
Good luck with your numbers, and we hope you have a winning weekend!Published: Friday 1st July 2016
