Lottery Jackpots Roll Again!
The jackpots in the most recent EuroMillions and Lotto games both rolled over yet again, and that means lottery players will have not one but two separate chances to increase their personal wealth by eight figures in the days ahead. The first opportunity to win big will be provided by the Tuesday EuroMillions game, which will offer an estimated £31 million. Regardless of what happens in that game, the Wednesday Lotto draw will then offer a quadruple rollover jackpot worth around £14.7 million which, as we said yesterday, will not be allowed to roll for a fifth time.
We presented the Lotto results in our news item yesterday, so today we will take a closer look at what happened in the most recent EuroMillions game. The main numbers drawn on Friday 12 December were 02, 15, 28, 31 and 37, and the Lucky Star numbers were 04 and 06. As is often the case in a draw in which the jackpot rolls over, the biggest winners were found at the second tier level, where three tickets matched all five main numbers and one of the Lucky Stars to win £381,582 each. All three of those tickets were bought right here in the UK, so well done to the lucky players concerned.
There were seven tickets that matched five main numbers only, and the third tier prize that went to each of those was worth £54,511. Another 71 tickets won their owners £2,687 each by matching four main numbers and both of the Lucky Stars, and over 2.48 million prizes were won across the lower levels. A separate prize of £1 million was won by the player matching the Millionaire Maker code YGC813215.
Followers of our EuroMillions statistics will no doubt be interested to note that the most overdue main numbers as we head towards the £31 million draw this Tuesday 16 December are 43, 16, 11, 22 and 39, and the most overdue Lucky Star numbers are 07 and 08. Players are advised to buy tickets early to avoid the risk of missing out, so visit this page to enter your numbers online and you just might become the next big winner! Enjoy the game and good luck!
