Jackpot Winner Bought Ticket Online

Jackpot Winner Bought Ticket Online

One of three lucky players who landed the Lotto jackpot on Saturday 15 June achieved the feat by purchasing their lottery ticket online. The online winner, who can only be referred to as ‘Mr R’ from Surrey, won a massive £1,193,270, and the fact that he succeeded without having to queue up for tickets in the shops makes his achievement especially notable. Hopefully it will encourage other online lottery players who plan on having a go at winning a midweek Lotto jackpot of around £2 million this evening!

We will get back to the impending midweek Lotto game shortly, but first we should bring you up to date with what happened in the EuroMillions draw last night. The EuroMillions results for Tuesday 2 July were 11, 13, 14, 28 and 30, and the Lucky Star numbers were 04 and 05. No ticket matched all of those numbers, so the first jackpot of the month – which just happened to be a brand new one – rolled over to the next game this Friday. The Millionaire Raffle number last night was TXX174354.

There were 13 EuroMillions tickets that matched all five of the main numbers plus one of the Lucky Stars to win a second tier prize of £56,678 each, and two of those tickets had been purchased in the UK. Another 13 tickets matched five main numbers only to win a third tier prize worth £18,892 each, whilst 77 tickets won £1,594 each by matching four main numbers plus both Lucky Stars. The total number of prizes landed was 2,105,922, and the total value of cash won by UK players was £2,134,752. The jackpot in the next EuroMillions game this Friday 5 July is expected to be worth around £22 million.

Getting back to the Lotto action that will be taking place tonight, those of you who want some inspiration for your entries might want to take a look at our dedicated Lottery Statistics page. No number has a greater chance of being drawn than any other, but lottery stats can be fun to follow, especially if they help you to win! The most overdue numbers at the time of writing are 19, 42, 22, 37, 12 and 49, whilst the most common numbers are 44, 38, 23, 40, 39 and 11, so it will be interesting to see whether or not any of those make an appearance this evening.

However you formulate your entries, you can follow in the jackpot-winning footsteps of ‘Mr R’ by purchasing your tickets online. Visit this page to do that right now and good luck with your numbers!
