London 2012 Tickets for Lottery Players

London 2012 Tickets for Lottery Players

Lottery players in the UK who buy their tickets online will also have the chance to win themselves London 2012 tickets. There are 2,012 tickets that are up for grabs, including 15 VIP trips (for the winner and one guest) to the eagerly anticipated Opening Ceremony. All you have to do to stand a chance of winning a pair of tickets is buy your lottery tickets online between now and Saturday 28 April. You will then be entered into a prize draw (one entry for every line of lottery numbers that you play) and if you get lucky in the draw you could be cheering on Team GB personally this summer!

Of course, you won’t have to wait until summer to get excited because the end of this week will give you the chance to play for not one but two big money jackpots. The first opportunity comes on Friday 6 April, when the EuroMillions game will offer a double rollover jackpot worth around £26 million. Then, on Saturday, the Lotto game will boast a rollover jackpot of around £6.6 million because no ticket matched all six main numbers in the midweek draw on Wednesday 4 April. That gives us a total of £32.6 million to have a go at, plus an extra £1 million that is up for grabs in the Millionaire Raffle game.

The Lotto results on Wednesday were 09, 23, 26, 33, 40 and 44, and the Bonus Ball was 31. Although no ticket won the jackpot (which had a value of £2.24 million), nine tickets did match five main numbers plus the Bonus Ball to win a second-tier consolation prize of £76,788 each. Coming so close to winning the jackpot but ending up just one main number short must have been extremely frustrating for the nine players involved, but hopefully the consolation prize will have softened the blow a little. Another 304,665 tickets won £1,379, £59 or £10 each by matching five, four or three main numbers, respectively.

In the EuroMillions game on Tuesday, the main numbers drawn were 01, 08, 18, 25 and 30, and the Lucky Stars were 09 and 10. No ticket won the £18 million jackpot, but three tickets did match all five main numbers and one of the Lucky Stars to win £239,738 each. Another 13 tickets won £18,441 each by matching five main numbers only, and 33 tickets matched four main numbers and both of the Lucky Stars to win £3,632 each. The Millionaire Raffle number on Tuesday (which made one lucky player £1 million richer) was PJT655571.

Buy your lottery tickets online today and not only could you win yourself a big jackpot at the end of this week, you could also win yourself some of those elusive London 2012 tickets. Good luck on both counts and enjoy the games!
