Last Call for February Winners
Updated: Wednesday 14th May 2014
Anyone who wants to win a lottery jackpot before the end of the month needs to act fast and grab tickets for the midweek Lotto and Friday EuroMillions games, because time is running out. The Lotto game this evening will offer a brand new jackpot which is expected to be worth around £2.2 million, and the associated Lotto Raffle game will create 50 winners of £20,000 each. Then, on Friday, the EuroMillions game will offer a triple rollover jackpot with an estimated value of £34 million, whilst the Millionaire Raffle game will deliver a separate prize of £1 million.
The main numbers drawn in the EuroMillions game on Tuesday 25 February were 21, 25, 28, 35 and 42, and the Lucky star numbers were 04 and 06. There were two tickets that matched the five main numbers and one Lucky Star to land a second tier prize, but both of those tickets were purchased outside the UK, so the sum landed was €519,074 each.
UK players had better luck at the third tier, because they owned two of the eight tickets that matched five main numbers only to win £29,828 each. Another 61 tickets won £1,955 each by matching four main numbers and both Lucky Stars, and 975 tickets matched four main numbers and one Lucky Star to win £107 each. There were over 1.7 million consolation prizes won in total, and the Millionaire Raffle number that made one player £1 million richer last night was ZXJ180326.
Players who want to include one or more of the most overdue numbers on their tickets for the next EuroMillions game this Friday should consider the main numbers 09, 14, 40, 07 and 43, as well as the Lucky Star numbers 03 and 11. At the opposite end of the statistical spectrum, the most common main numbers are 50, 04, 19, 11 and 44, and the most common Lucky Star numbers are 05 and 03.
We have the midweek Lotto and Lotto Raffle games to enjoy before we get to Friday’s EuroMillions triple rollover jackpot game, so if you haven’t already done so, click here to play online and you just might enter the second half of the week with an extra £2.2 million to your name. If not, there are plenty of consolation and Lotto Raffle prizes to be won, so enjoy the draws this evening and good luck!
