Jackpots Won in EuroMillions and Lotto
The jackpots were won in both the EuroMillions and Lotto games last Friday and Saturday, which definitely made it a weekend to remember for the owners of the three tickets involved. Two tickets shared a EuroMillions jackpot worth £21,629,100 on Friday (one ticket was purchased in Spain and the other in France) and one ticket landed a Lotto jackpot worth £4,324,677 on Saturday. Now the jackpots in both games have been reset and the midweek draws this Tuesday and Wednesday will offer jackpots of around £12 million and £2.2 million.
The EuroMillions results on Friday 15 June were 10, 22, 27, 38 and 48, with the numbers 03 and 07 appearing as the Lucky Stars. There were six winning tickets at the second-tier prize level (one of which was purchased here in the UK) and each of those tickets won £209,152 by matching the five main numbers and one of the Lucky Stars. Another 17 tickets matched five main numbers only to win £24,606 each, and there were 3,104,154 tickets winning smaller consolation prizes. The Millionaire Raffle number PSY036130 was worth £1,000,000 to the UK player who was lucky enough to have the same number printed on their ticket.
In the Lotto game on Saturday the main numbers drawn were 03, 19, 21, 37, 40 and 49, and the Bonus Ball was 35. The biggest winner on the night was obviously the owner of the ticket that landed the jackpot itself, but four tickets came very close by matching five of the six main numbers plus the Bonus Ball, and each of those tickets won £332,667 as a result. 439 tickets won £1,894 each by matching five main numbers only and another 490,469 tickets won either £74 or £10 each by matching four or three main numbers only.
As always, we congratulate all of the lottery winners involved and we now look forward to seeing what the midweek draws bring the rest of us. Buy your lottery tickets here for both the EuroMillions game on Tuesday and the Lotto game on Wednesday and if you don’t win the jackpot in the first you just might land the big one in the second! Enjoy both games and good luck!
