Jackpots Landed in UK and Ireland

Jackpots Landed in UK and Ireland

The jackpots were landed in both the UK Lotto and Irish Lotto games on Wednesday 20 June and – as if that wasn’t enough excitement for the midweek lottery proceedings – the Thunderball game created two top-prize winners of £500,000 each. The brand new jackpot in the next UK Lotto game this Saturday 23 June will be worth around £4.1 million and the jackpot in the Irish Lotto game on the same day will be worth around €2 million. Thunderball lottery prizes, as regular players will already be aware, remain the same from draw to draw.

In the midweek UK Lotto game the jackpot was worth £2,071,920 and the winning numbers were 06, 10, 12, 30, 36 and 49, with the number 04 being drawn as the Bonus Ball. Just one ticket matched all six main numbers to win the jackpot outright, but seven tickets matched five main numbers as well as the Bonus Ball number to win a second-tier prize of £91,073 each. 328 tickets won £1,214 each by matching five main numbers only, and another 324,223 tickets matched four or three main numbers only to win £46 or £10 each.

The Irish Lotto results on Wednesday were 15, 31, 35, 38, 40 and 45, and the Bonus Ball was 11. The jackpot had rolled over several times previously, and was worth €8,749,912 last night when one ticket won that sum outright. There were two tickets that matched five main numbers and the Bonus Ball to win a fixed prize of €25,000 each at the second-tier level. 32 tickets matched five main numbers only to win €2,429 each and the total number of tickets that won any prize at all was 36,921.

Finally, the Thunderball numbers that gave two tickets a top prize of £500,000 each on Wednesday were 02, 10, 13, 26 and 29, and the Thunderball was 09. Six tickets won a second-tier prize of £5,000 each by matching the five main numbers without the Thunderball, and the total number of prizes won was 169,617.

Congratulations to everyone who won a prize on Wednesday and good luck to everyone who has a go at winning a lottery prize this Friday or Saturday. Buy your lottery tickets here and if you don’t win the £12 million jackpot in the EuroMillions game on Friday you could still win the £4.1 million Lotto jackpot on Saturday!
