Ireland and Spain Share EuroMillions

Ireland and Spain Share EuroMillions

Two tickets that had been purchased in Ireland and Spain shared the EuroMillions jackpot on Friday 6 September, and what makes this news particularly special is that it was only the second jackpot win of 2013 for both countries. Ireland had previously won in June of this year, and Spain had previously won in April, so a second win for each country will certainly have been well received. The jackpot on Friday was worth £21,603,767, so each winner can now claim an equal share worth £10,801,883.

The EuroMillions results for Friday 6 September were 11, 23, 25, 32 and 37, and the Lucky Star numbers were 04 and 07. There were six tickets that matched the five main numbers and one Lucky Star to win a second tier prize worth £183,930 each, and two of those tickets had been purchased in the UK. At the third tier, 13 tickets matched the five main numbers only to win £28,297 each, and there were 2,697,535 winning tickets at the lower levels. The next EuroMillions game this Tuesday 10 September will offer a brand new jackpot of around £12 million.

On Saturday, there were some very good reasons for players to celebrate in the UK Lotto game. One ticket matched all six of the main numbers drawn (01, 11, 12, 13, 35 and 42) to win the very life-changing sum of £3,676,642. Another 11 tickets matched five of the main numbers plus the Bonus Ball (which was 05) to win £102,843 at the second tier, and 357 tickets matched five main numbers only to win £1,980 each. More than 477,000 other entries won smaller prizes of £67 or £10 each by matching four or three main numbers.

In the Health Lottery game on Saturday night, the main numbers drawn were 09, 14, 34, 36 and 40, and the Bonus Ball number was 38. There were no entries that matched all five main numbers, so no player landed the top prize of £100,000, but over 9,300 tickets won consolation prizes of £10, £20, £50, £250 or £10,000 each.

We are pleased to be writing about another weekend that was packed with winners, and we would like to congratulate the jackpot winners in particular. For those of you who haven’t yet made your lottery dreams come true, your luck might well change this Tuesday. Buy your EuroMillions tickets online from this page and if your numbers come up you could soon have an extra £12 million sitting in your bank account. Good luck!
