Huge Lotto Jackpot of £21 Million Won By Single Player
A single ticket holder has scooped the biggest Lotto jackpot in more than two months after matching all six main numbers to win £21,054,380 on Wednesday 15th June. On a night when over 1 million players picked up prizes, another participant also became £1 million richer thanks to the Lotto Millionaire Raffle.
The numbers drawn were 2, 14, 19, 20, 29 and 38 with Bonus Ball 27. As well as the jackpot winner, one ticket holder also matched five main numbers plus the Bonus Ball to pocket £55,473. The other prizes given away spanned between a free Lotto Lucky Dip for matching two main numbers and £789 for matching five main numbers.
The winning Lotto Millionaire Raffle code worth £1 million was TEAL 6909 9157. Visit the Lotto Results section to find the other 20 winning codes, each worth £20,000, plus a full Lotto prize breakdown.
The jackpot success brought an end to a run of seven rollovers and produced the biggest win since a single player landed £35.1 million on Wednesday 6th April. It is also the fourth occasion this year that a jackpot in excess of £20 million has been given away, including a Lotto record of £66 million back on Saturday 9th January.
The Lotto Statistics page charts how the jackpot has progressed over the past six months and also has frequency tables, graphs and much more so you can see how often each of the 59 numbers have been drawn and perhaps plot a strategy of your own.
If you want to take a statistical approach to picking your numbers, the next draw will take place on Saturday and will offer a top prize of £3.8 million. You can pick up a ticket now by visiting any authorised retailer or playing online. Good luck!Published: Thursday 16th June 2016
