Hello Lotto Plus 5

Hello Lotto Plus 5

We've said 'Goodbye Dream Number' and now it’s time to say 'Hello Lotto Plus 5' as the National Lottery launch a brand new draw to run alongside the twice-weekly UK Lotto draws. The Lotto Plus 5 will pick up where the Dream Number left off, creating extra winners and raising more funds for good causes and London 2012 and the new draw looks like it may be the most exciting thing to happen to the lottery for a long time!

The next time you buy lottery tickets, you’ll see the Lotto Plus 5 option on your ticket, just tick the box and for an extra £1, you’ll receive an entry into the draw. However, the Lotto Plus 5 isn’t just one draw, it’s an extra lottery draw every single night there isn’t a main draw, giving you five chances each week to win.

Sundays, Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays are to become Lotto Plus 5 nights and if you choose to play, your usual lottery numbers will be added into the draws for all five evenings. So for just £1, you get five extra chances to win every single week, working out at just 20p a draw.

Just like the main Lotto draw, six balls will be drawn in the Lotto Plus 5 draw and to win you need to match these numbers to the numbers you play in the main National Lottery draw. Match three balls or upwards and just like in the Lotto you win a prize, ranging from £2.50 for matching three balls, right up to £250,000 for matching all six!

Look out for the Lotto Plus 5 option next time you buy lottery tickets, we recommend that now, with daily draws and numbers to check, you buy lottery tickets online. That way, your numbers will be checked automatically daily and you won’t have to worry about missing a win.
