Guinevere Creates Multimillionaire
The lottery machine Guinevere created the first Lotto multimillionaire of the month in the midweek draw, so someone is waking up this morning with the legal entitlement to a jackpot worth £2,904,130. The Lotto results that delivered this prize to a single ticket on Wednesday 2 April were 14, 16, 20, 38, 39 and 45, and the Bonus Ball number, which obviously wasn't required by the jackpot winner, was 23. The next Lotto game this Saturday 5 April is expected to be worth around £4.4 million.
There were five tickets that matched five of the main numbers plus the Bonus Ball number to secure a second tier consolation prize, and the value of that prize last night was £46,361 per winner. The third tier paid £2,343 to each of 84 winning tickets that matched five main numbers only, and over 109,000 tickets won smaller prizes of £207 or £25 each by matching four or three main numbers.
The Lotto Raffle draw always creates a minimum of 50 winners of £20,000 every Wednesday and Saturday, and that is precisely how many winners there were in last night's game. Since the Lotto jackpot was also won, the next Lotto Raffle game will create another 50 winners, and the £20,000 paid to each of those will be quite a bit more than they could expect to get by matching five Lotto numbers in the main game.
There were no top prize winners in the midweek Health Lottery game, so players will have to wait until Saturday for their next chance to win £100,000 by matching five numbers. The main numbers drawn in the Health Lottery game last night were 04, 16, 21, 35 and 40, and the Bonus Ball number was 25. More than 34,000 tickets won consolation prizes.
We said earlier that the next Lotto game this Saturday will offer a jackpot of around £4.4 million. Those of you who want to keep an eye open for the most overdue numbers will want to be looking out for the numbers 32, 18, 06, 42, 41 and 36. The most common Lotto numbers at the time of writing are 44, 38, 40, 23, 39 and 25. Head this way to buy your tickets online and good luck!
