Guaranteed Lotto Jackpot Payout!
Updated: Friday 17th July 2015
Casual lottery fans who like to pick and choose the games they play will definitely want to participate in tonight’s midweek Lotto draw because it will offer an advertised jackpot of £13.4 million which is guaranteed to pay out! That heady sum comes on the back of four consecutive rollovers, and because current Lotto rules don’t allow for five rollovers in a row, the jackpot prize pool will be rolled down to winners at the next highest non-jackpot level if no player matches all six main numbers.
The last quadruple rollover jackpot was in the midweek Lotto game on Wednesday 27 May, and on that occasion the sum of £13.5 million was won outright by great-grandfather Peter Congdon of Truro, Cornwall. The big question now is who will land the spoils in tonight’s game? Will the jackpot be won outright once again, will several players match the six main numbers to share the cash or will the money roll down to those who match five main numbers and the Bonus Ball? The answer will come soon enough, but if you don’t get involved you can’t win, so be sure to secure your entry early in order to avoid the inevitable last-minute rush.
One player who already knows how it feels to buy a ticket with a little pocket change and win a fortune is the UK EuroMillions participant who matched the Millionaire Maker code MZX313346 last night to win £1 million. That player was the biggest winner of the night because the EuroMillions jackpot of £10.78 million rolled over. The main numbers drawn on Tuesday 16 June were 10, 15, 16, 36 and 37, and the Lucky Stars were 03 and 09.
The second tier saw one EuroMillions ticket match all five main numbers and one of the Lucky Star numbers to win a prize of €1,007,623, and we quote that figure in euros because the winning entry had been purchased outside the UK. Two tickets – one of which had been bought on these shores – matched five main numbers only to win £129,601 each. More than 1.58 million smaller prizes were won by tickets matching fewer numbers, and the total amount of cash won by UK players (excluding the Millionaire Maker prize mentioned earlier) was in excess of £2.22 million, so well done to everyone who won a prize of any size.
Getting back to the guaranteed Lotto jackpot payout that will take place tonight, we can tell you that the most overdue numbers to watch out for are 16, 13, 26, 02, 44 and 20.
