Golden Opportunity for EuroMillions Fans
EuroMillions fans have a golden opportunity to win more than five times the usual jackpot sum today (Tuesday 14 June) thanks to the presence of a multi-rollover jackpot worth £67 million. A regular EuroMillions jackpot tends to be worth around £13 million, but because no player has matched all five main numbers and both Lucky Stars in any of the last six games, the cumulative prize currently on offer is far bigger. The good news for players is that tickets for tonight’s draw cost exactly the same as they do for any other draw, so those of you who enjoy getting value for money may well decide to buy yourselves a few extra tickets to make the most of the opportunity.
Now that each ticket purchased for the EuroMillions game gives players a 1 in 13 chance of winning a prize, it could be argued that buying multiple tickets makes even more sense than it did before the new rules came into play on Tuesday 10 May. Although the jackpot itself is a little more difficult to win, consolation prizes are now paid to anyone who matches as few as two main numbers, and that means the overall number of prizes that are won in each draw has actually increased by quite a bit. For example, in the most recent EuroMillions draw on Friday 10 June there were more than 3.1 million prizes won, which definitely isn’t a figure to be sneezed at.
Players who fancy including one or more ‘overdue’ numbers among their entries for the EuroMillions draw this evening will be interested to note that the most overdue main numbers are currently 30, 31, 05, 07 and 08, whilst the most overdue Lucky Star numbers are 06 and 07. The eagle-eyed among you will have noticed that the number 07 appears twice in that last sentence, so will ‘lucky number 7’ be one that helps to land the £67 million jackpot? We’ll just have to wait and see!
One thing is for certain – if you don’t buy yourself a ticket then you have no chance of winning the EuroMillions jackpot or any other prize. So what are you waiting for? Buy your lottery tickets online if you want to give yourself a chance and good luck!
