Friday Night Lottery Thriller
Updated: Monday 16th June 2014
Lottery fans will have a double dose of excitement to enjoy this Friday night thanks to no player matching all seven of the numbers drawn in the first game of the week. The jackpot last night was worth £17.8 million, and the second rollover in a row means that the next game this Friday will offer a top prize which is expected to be worth around £27 million. Add that to the special Millionaire Raffle draw which is guaranteed to create 10 winners of £1 million each and we really can’t think of a better way to end the working week… apart from actually winning!
For the benefit of those of you who haven't yet checked your tickets, the EuroMillions results for Tuesday 8 April were 11, 18, 29, 42 and 49, and the Lucky Star numbers were 04 and 11. A second tier prize worth £140,107 went to each of five tickets that matched all five main numbers and one of the Lucky Stars, and a prize of £38,918 went to each of six tickets that matched five main numbers only.
There were more than 1.58 million prizes won at the lower levels, and the biggest of those – worth £3,155 each – went to the owners of 37 tickets that matched four main numbers and both Lucky Stars. The total amount of cash won by UK participants was in excess of £1.97 million, and another £1 million was won by the Millionaire Raffle entry bearing the number PCC396384.
Two main numbers (11 and 29) and one Lucky Star number (04) that were drawn on Tuesday had been highlighted on our EuroMillions Statistics page as Most Overdue, so well done to anyone who played those numbers and won a prize as a result. The Most Overdue main numbers as we head to the double rollover game this Friday are 09, 14, 48, 15 and 31, and the Lucky Stars to watch out for are 06 and 01.
We look forward to seeing if any of the numbers just mentioned help anyone to win the EuroMillions jackpot this Friday, but first we have a midweek Lotto game to enjoy this evening. The jackpot in the previous Lotto game rolled over, so the top prize tonight is expected to be worth around £5.9 million, and the Lotto Raffle game will create 100 winners of £20,000 each, guaranteed. Click here to enter the game online and think positive!
