Friday EuroMillions Triple Rollover
The EuroMillions game this Friday 11 October will offer a triple rollover jackpot that is expected to be worth around £36 million after no player succeeded in matching all seven numbers in the midweek draw. The EuroMillions results on Tuesday 8 October were 23, 24, 26, 33 and 42, and the Lucky Star numbers were 03 and 05. Not only did the £27.4 million jackpot elude players all over the globe, but so did the second tier prize, which means the biggest winners were those who matched five main numbers only.
There were five such tickets that landed a third tier prize, including two that had been purchased in the UK, and each of those won £195,186. Another 58 tickets matched four of the main numbers as well as both Lucky Stars to win £2,103 each, and 643 tickets won £166 each by matching four main numbers and one Lucky Star. The total number of prizes won was 1,777,340 and the total amount of cash landed by UK players – not including the £1 million won by the player matching the Millionaire Raffle number CJY669878 – was £1,928,733.
It hasn’t been all that long since we had the previous triple rollover jackpot in the EuroMillions game. The last one was played for in mid-September, and on that occasion it rolled again. This time, players will be hoping to stop the jackpot rolling any further, not because they dislike ever-increasing jackpot sizes, but because £36 million is already a massive sum, and would be enough to satisfy the ambitions of all but the greediest lottery fans.
With £36 million up for grabs instead of a standard jackpot of around £12 million, players will effectively be getting a lot more value for money in this Friday’s EuroMillions game. If that encourages you to buy an extra ticket or two in order to increase your chances of winning, you may be interested in playing one or more of the most overdue numbers. The most overdue main numbers right now are 46, 22, 08, 34 and 29, and the most overdue Lucky Star numbers are 01 and 04.
Whilst the EuroMillions game this Friday is undoubtedly something worth getting excited about, don’t forget that there is also a midweek Lotto jackpot of £2.5 million and 50 Lotto Raffle prizes of £20,000 to play for this evening. Click here to buy your tickets and good luck!
