EuroMillions Nine-Figure Jackpot!
The EuroMillons jackpot is expected to be worth around £100 million this Friday 10 October after no ticket proved able to match all seven numbers drawn in the first game of the week. The anticipated nine-figure jackpot will undoubtedly encourage many casual players to the game as well as the usual regulars, so lottery retailers are bracing themselves for a very busy few days as demand for tickets soars. The good news for online players is that queues aren't an issue, and buying a ticket for a chance to win £100 million is as quick and easy as ever.
The EuroMillions results on Tuesday 7 October were 09, 21, 28, 30 and 38, along with the Lucky Star numbers 01 and 08. The jackpot, which had rolled over from the Superdraw game on Friday 3 October, had a final value of £88.3 million, but the biggest prize that any player could win was at the second tier. It was there that four tickets matched all five main numbers plus one of the Lucky Stars to win £333,167 each, and we are delighted to report that three of those tickets had been purchased right here in the UK!
There were 13 lucky tickets that won a third tier prize of £34,171 each by matching five main numbers only, and another 67 tickets won £3,315 each by matching four main numbers and both of the Lucky Stars. The total number of consolation prizes landed in the EuroMillions game last night was 3,079,580, and UK players collectively won more than £4.52 million in prize money. An additional £1 million was won by the UK player who matched the Millionaire Raffle number BWD746691.
Lottery fans can now start counting down to the £100 million EuroMillions jackpot game this Friday, but before we get to that we first have a midweek Lotto jackpot of around £2.1 million to play for.
