Fresh Jackpot for Wednesday Lotto

Fresh Jackpot for Wednesday Lotto
Updated: Wednesday 9th April 2014

The Lotto game last Saturday saw one player win the jackpot outright, so there will be a fresh jackpot worth an estimated £2.2 million in the Wednesday Lotto game this evening (5 December). Hopefully that will be just enough to soothe anyone who was disappointed about not winning the £33 million jackpot in the EuroMillions game last night. No player was able to match all seven of the numbers drawn and so the jackpot rolled to the next game this Friday, where it should be worth around £44 million.

The EuroMillions results on Tuesday 4 December were 05, 10, 28, 29 and 44, and the Lucky Star numbers were 02 and 04. Two tickets matched all five main numbers and one Lucky Star to win a second-tier prize of £432,869 each, and we are happy to report that one of those winning tickets was purchased right here in the UK. Six tickets – including another one purchased by a UK player – matched five main numbers only to win £48,096 each.

47 tickets matched four main numbers and both Lucky Stars to win a EuroMillions fourth-tier prize of £3,069 each, and 969 tickets won £130 each by matching four main numbers and one Lucky Star. The total number of prizes won in the main game last night was 2,125,316, and the Millionaire Raffle game created an additional winner of £1 million with the number XVJ551994.

Whether players fare any better in the jackpot department in the next EuroMillions game this Friday remains to be seen, but before we think too much about that we ought to concentrate on the midweek Lotto jackpot this evening. Those who follow our Lottery Statistics may want to note that the most overdue Lotto numbers right now are 13, 43, 06, 08, 03 and 42, so it will be interesting to see if any of those make an appearance tonight. However you choose your numbers, buy your midweek Lotto tickets online here and you won’t risk losing them.

Talking of losing your tickets, don’t forget that there is still a EuroMillions prize of £63.8 million waiting to be claimed, and the deadline for someone to come forward with the winning ticket is 11pm tonight. If you have ever bought a EuroMillions ticket in the Stevenage and Hitchin area we strongly recommend that you check, double-check and triple-check that you don’t have the winning entry tucked away somewhere!
