France and Spain Share EuroMillions

France and Spain Share EuroMillions
Updated: Monday 7th April 2014

The first EuroMillions jackpot win of 2014 was landed last night, and we can tell you that two tickets matched all seven numbers to share a top prize with a final value of £108,247,799. The winning tickets had been purchased in France and Spain, so those two countries take the early lead in the annual race to see which nation can amass the most jackpot successes. The EuroMillions results responsible for this outcome on Tuesday 7 January were 02, 20, 27, 33 and 45, along with the Lucky Star numbers 06 and 10.

Although the jackpot was obviously the biggest prize landed in the Tuesday EuroMillions game, the jackpot winners weren’t the only players with something to celebrate. Nine tickets matched all five of the main numbers plus one of the Lucky Star numbers to win a second tier prize worth £164,513 each, and two of those tickets had been purchased by players in the UK.

The third tier prize level saw 17 tickets match the five main numbers only to win £29,031 each, whilst another 68 tickets won their owners £3,628 each after matching four main numbers and both of the Lucky Stars. The total number of prizes landed last night was 3,332,863, and UK players collectively won a total of £4,389,668. As usual, that figure doesn’t include the £1 million prize that was landed by the player who matched the Millionaire Raffle number, and the winning number on Tuesday was JSN066958.

Congratulations to everyone who won a prize in the midweek EuroMillions game, and especially to the jackpot winners in France and Spain. The next game this Friday 10 January will offer a top prize of around £12 million, and we look forward to seeing how long it takes for the UK to get onto the jackpot-winning map.

Before we get to that game on Friday, we have a midweek Lotto game to enjoy this evening (Wednesday 8 January). The jackpot will be worth around £2.2 million, and if you want to include one or more of the most overdue numbers on your ticket you should be considering 43, 46, 20, 32, 3 and 47. Head this way to enter the game online and good luck!
