Four Win Midweek Lotto Jackpot
The first midweek Lotto game of April saw four tickets match all six main numbers drawn to share a jackpot of £2,024,512, giving each winner a personal Lotto prize of £506,128. That sum is just a shade more than the top prize in the Thunderball game, and there was good news there too last night, with one ticket matching all five main numbers plus the Thunderball itself. That means there are now five more lottery half-millionaires in the UK than there were in the first half of the week, and there could be many more to come before the week is over!
The Lotto results on Wednesday 3 April were 05, 11, 21, 32, 42 and 48, and the Bonus Ball was 28. There were 14 tickets that matched five of the main numbers as well as the Bonus Ball to win £44,494 each, and 313 tickets won £1,243 each by matching five main numbers only. 14,830 tickets won £57 each by matching four main numbers, and 258,636 tickets matched three main numbers to win £10 each. The next Lotto jackpot this Saturday 6 April will be worth around £3.8 million.
In the Thunderball game last night, the main numbers drawn were 07, 11, 13, 19 and 22, and the Thunderball number was 14. A total of 136,098 consolation prizes were landed in addition to the top prize of £500,000, and the biggest of those (worth £5,000 each) went to five tickets that matched the five main numbers only. 57 tickets won £250 each by matching four main numbers plus the Thunderball, and all of the other winning tickets landed smaller prizes by matching fewer numbers.
Over in Ireland, the Irish Lotto results for Wednesday 3 April were 06, 14, 15, 23, 24 and 31, and the Bonus Ball was 26. The jackpot had a final value of €4.52 million, but no ticket was able to win it so the next jackpot this Saturday will be worth around €5 million.
Well done to everyone who won a lottery prize of any kind last night, and especially to those who landed a top prize in the Lotto and Thunderball games. Those of you who didn't win big can now look forward to the next round of lottery action in the hope of faring better. The EuroMillions game kicks things off with a £21 million jackpot draw this Friday 5 April, so visit this page to buy your tickets online and good luck!
