Four Share Triple Rollover Lotto Jackpot
Updated: Tuesday 8th April 2014
Four lucky Lotto players matched all six main numbers drawn on Saturday night to land an equal share of a huge triple rollover jackpot. The jackpot was worth £12,421,424, so each of the four winning players can now make a claim for £3,105,356 and start enjoying their new status as triple millionaires! The Lotto results which enabled those players to change their lives forever on Saturday 10 August were 14, 15, 17, 26, 35 and 46.
There were also four winning tickets at the second tier prize level, and they matched five of the main numbers plus the Bonus Ball number (which was 18) to win £369,151 each. Another 391 tickets won £2,360 each by matching five main numbers only, and 511,603 tickets won smaller prizes of £82 or £10 each by matching four or three main numbers only.
In the Health Lottery game, which also took place on Saturday night, the main numbers drawn were 13, 19, 21, 34 and 43, and the Bonus Ball number was 22. One player, who purchased their winning Health Lottery ticket in Manchester, matched all five of the main numbers drawn to win the top prize of £100,000, and more than 13,700 tickets won consolation prizes of up to £10,000 each.
All of that excitement came the day after the EuroMillions game gave players their fifth jackpot rollover in a row. The EuroMillions results on Friday 9 August were 04, 07, 09, 23 and 24, with the numbers 08 and 09 appearing as the Lucky Stars. Although no player was able to win the £44 million jackpot itself, 12 tickets matched all five main numbers plus one of the Lucky Stars to secure a second tier prize worth £94,551 each.
13 EuroMillions tickets matched five main numbers only to win £29,092 each, and 88 tickets won £2,148 each by matching four main numbers as well as both Lucky Stars. More than 3.33 million prizes were won in total, and one UK player won a separate prize of £1,000,000 by matching the Millionaire Raffle number HCS880262.
Congratulations to everyone who won a lottery prize on Friday or Saturday, and especially to the four players who landed the triple rollover jackpot in the Lotto game. Those of you who didn’t win as much as you had hoped can now play for a EuroMillions jackpot of around £50 million in the next scheduled draw this Tuesday.
