Four Share Lotto Triple Rollover Jackpot

Four Share Lotto Triple Rollover Jackpot

Four tickets matched all six main numbers to win a share of the triple rollover jackpot in the Lotto game on Saturday 16 April. The jackpot was worth £16,366,436, so each of the jackpot-winning tickets is now worth £4,091,609. The lottery numbers which brought about this result were 04, 34, 40, 41, 44 and 49, and the Bonus Ball was 46. With four main numbers and the Bonus Ball coming from the range 40 to 49, any player who had concentrated on that particular zone would have had a great chance of winning a prize, and plenty of players did just that!

12 players matched five of the main numbers plus the Bonus Ball to win a second-tier prize of £157,233 each. 480 players won £2,456 each for matching five main numbers only, and another 579,721 won either £85 or £10 each by matching four or three main numbers, respectively. All of this meant that a total of 580,217 Lotto prizes were won last Saturday evening, so there will be quite a few players who were glad that they chose to participate in this latest game.

The Lotto jackpot has now been reset and will be worth around £2.4 million this Wednesday 20 April. Then, on Friday 22 April, EuroMillions players will have a chance to play for a double rollover jackpot of around £39 million. That’s because nobody matched enough numbers to win last Friday when the main results were 04, 06, 21, 39 and 41 and the Lucky Stars were 02 and 06. Of course, one UK player won £1 million thanks to the Millionaire Raffle game, and the winning number last Friday was XQY372968.

14 players (3 in the UK) came close to winning the EuroMillions jackpot, and each won £156,654 for matching the five main numbers and one Lucky Star. 17 more players (2 in the UK) won £36,611 by matching five main numbers only. In total, 1,921,562 EuroMillions prizes were won last Friday, and we expect this figure to be eclipsed this Friday when the double rollover jackpot will no doubt encourage players to buy themselves a few more tickets than usual.
