Five Tickets Win Lotto Jackpot
The Lotto jackpot on Saturday 28 June was landed by five lucky winners. The final value of the jackpot, which had rolled over from the previous game midweek, was £5,227,520, so each of the winning players is now £1,045,504 richer than they were before the draw took place. We can only imagine how it must feel to wake up as a millionaire, so well done to the players concerned and we wish you all the very best for the future. The Lotto results that made it happen for the five jackpot winners on Saturday were 08, 12, 28, 30, 43 and 49, and the Bonus Ball was 42.
Eight tickets matched five of the main numbers plus the Bonus Ball to win a consolation prize worth £42,670 each, and another 276 tickets won £1,050 each by matching five main numbers only. There were 15,546 tickets that won £98 each by matching four main numbers, and a prize of £25 went to each of 289,057 tickets that matched three main numbers. The Lotto Raffle draw picked 100 winners to receive a prize of £20,000 each.
In the Health Lottery game on Saturday, no ticket was able to match all five of the main numbers that were drawn, which were 08, 17, 21, 29 and 32. Over 18,000 tickets matched enough of those numbers, with or without the Bonus Ball number 02, to land their owners a consolation prize.
All of the above took place one day after lottery fans had seen the EuroMillions jackpot roll over for the second draw in a row. The EuroMillions results on Friday 27 June were 31 , 33, 34, 39 and 45, with the numbers 02 and 10 appearing as the Lucky Stars. One ticket purchased overseas matched all five main numbers and one of the Lucky Stars to win €1,474,696, and three other tickets – one of which was purchased in the UK – won £116,852 each by matching five main numbers only. More than 1.99 million tickets won smaller prizes, and one player won £1 million by matching the Millionaire Raffle number QLM446728.
The EuroMillions game this Tuesday 1 July will now offer a double rollover jackpot which is expected to be worth around £25 million, so click here to buy your tickets online if you fancy your chances of getting the new month off to the best possible start. Enjoy the game and good luck!
