Five Tickets Share Lotto Jackpot
Updated: Tuesday 22nd April 2014
Five tickets shared the Lotto jackpot on Saturday 30 June and because the jackpot had a final value of £6,764,295, each of the winning tickets is now worth £1,352,859. The Lotto results that were responsible for creating this bumper group of winners were 01, 18, 19, 24, 30 and 38, and the Bonus Ball was 41, so if you haven’t yet checked your lottery numbers for Saturday night, now would be a very good time to do so. If you haven’t won, there will be a new Lotto jackpot of around £2.2 million to play for this Wednesday.
There were eight winning tickets at the second-tier prize level and each of those landed a £163,600 payout by matching five of the main Lotto numbers plus the Bonus Ball. 461 tickets matched five main numbers only to win £1,774 each, 27,160 tickets won £66 each by matching four main numbers only and another 521,820 tickets matched three main numbers only to win £10 each.
As if five jackpot winners in the Lotto game weren’t enough on Saturday, the Health Lottery draw on the same night also created five top-prize winners. The Health Lottery numbers were 01, 06, 13, 19 and 23, and each ticket that matched all of those numbers won a cool £100,000. One of the jackpot-winning tickets was purchased online and the other four were purchased in Ellon, Liverpool, Market Harborough and Oldham. More than 15,200 other tickets won a prize of either £500 or £50 each by matching four or three numbers.
All of this followed a third jackpot rollover in the EuroMillions game on Friday 29 June because no player matched all five main numbers (14, 17, 28, 29 and 39) as well as both Lucky Stars (01 and 11) to win the £26.9 million that was up for grabs. Fortunately, the Millionaire Raffle number STQ827960 made one UK player £1 million richer, and we now have a triple rollover jackpot worth around £32 million to play for in the next EuroMillions game this Tuesday 3 July.
Well done to everyone who won a lottery prize over the weekend. Lottery tickets are already available for the midweek EuroMillions and Lotto games so be sure to give yourself a chance of winning here and good luck!
