Five Mega Christmas Day Winners!
The EuroMillions jackpot rolled over last Friday, so unfortunately there was nobody who managed to land themselves a multi-million-pound bank balance on Christmas Day. Fortunately, there were plenty of players who won consolation prizes, and – even better – the Millionaire Maker game fulfilled its promise by creating five winners of £1 million each. Those of you who haven’t yet checked your entries may want to do so now in order to avoid the risk of throwing a winning ticket away with the Christmas gift wrap!
The EuroMillions results on Friday 25 December were 03, 10, 25, 27 and 40, and the numbers 03 and 09 were drawn as the Lucky Stars. We have already established that the jackpot (which weighed in at just over £18.4 million) rolled over, but there was a good amount of success at the second tier prize level, because seven tickets matched the five main numbers and one Lucky Star to win £160,728 each.
Two of the second tier prize winners just mentioned had purchased their tickets in the UK, and the same can be said about three of the seven third tier winners who won £53,576 each by matching five main numbers only. There were 28 tickets that matched four main numbers and both of the Lucky Stars to win £1,994 each, and more than 2.66 million prizes were won across the lower levels. The total amount of cash won by players in the UK was £4,805,756.
Getting back to the topic of the five Millionaire Maker winners, the winning codes on Friday – each of which is worth £1 million to the player with the matching ticket – were as follows:
The jackpot in the next EuroMillions game this Tuesday 29 December will be worth an estimated £23 million. For those of you who like to follow our EuroMillions Statistics, the most overdue main numbers right now are 24, 31, 44, 01 and 42, whilst the most overdue Lucky Star numbers are 02 and 08. Whether or not any of those numbers will help someone to win the top prize on Tuesday remains to be seen, so good luck with whatever numbers you choose to play for yourself and be sure to let us know if you win big!Published: Monday 28th December 2015
