First EuroMillions Jackpot Win for Austria in Three Years

First EuroMillions Jackpot Win for Austria in Three Years

After five draws without a top-tier winner, last night’s EuroMillions draw proved to be a success for one lucky Austrian ticket holder who scooped the rollover jackpot worth £43.5 million after matching all seven numbers drawn. Incredibly, this is the first time a player from Austria has won the jackpot in almost three years with the last time being way back in September 2011.

This latest top-tier win sees Austria join Switzerland, Belgium, Portugal and Ireland in third position on the EuroMillions jackpot winners list for 2014, with all five countries having one top prize winner each. France and the UK share second place with two top-tier winners this year while Spain leaves the rest of the participating countries in the dust with an impressive seven jackpot winners.

Last night’s winning numbers were 4, 7, 11, 34 and 47 with Lucky Stars 7 and 8. In addition to the fortunate Austrian jackpot winner, there were over 1.8 million ticket holders across the remaining prize tiers who took home cash amounts worth between £2.90 for matching two main numbers and £157,766 for matching all five main numbers and one Lucky Star.

The additional Millionaire Raffle draw saw one UK player match the winning code KQV089304 to secure the £1 million prize. A full prize breakdown from last night’s draw can be found on the EuroMillions Results page.

As a result of the jackpot being won in last night’s draw, the EuroMillions top prize will now reset to £11 million for Friday’s draw. If you can’t wait until then for your chance to win a prize, turn your attention to tonight’s Lotto draw as there is a rollover jackpot worth an estimated £5.6 million, plus prizes in four other prize tiers and 100 Lotto Raffle prizes worth £20,000 each, up for grabs!

Tickets for tonight’s Lotto draw can be purchased quickly and easily online through the Lottery Tickets page or in person from an authorised retailer.

Good luck!
