Fifth EuroMillions Jackpot Rollover
EuroMillions lottery players saw the jackpot roll over for the fifth time in a row last night after none of the tickets entered for the game managed to win the £43 million that was available. The EuroMillions results for Tuesday 14 May were 07, 08, 24, 27 and 36, and the Lucky Star numbers were 05 and 11. Although no player won the jackpot, over 2.06 million consolation prizes were landed, and the next game this Friday will give fans the chance to win a top prize of around £53 million!
Regular readers will recall that the second-tier prize level was vacant following the EuroMillions draw on Friday 10 May, but we are pleased to report that it was a different story in the midweek game. Three tickets matched all five of the main numbers and one of the Lucky Stars to win £274,601 each, and one of those tickets had been entered by a player right here in the UK.
Two of three winning tickets at the third-tier prize level had also been purchased in the UK, and each of those won £91,533 by matching the five main numbers only. 39 tickets matched four main numbers and both of the Lucky Stars to win £3,520 each, and 855 tickets landed a prize of £140 each by matching four main numbers and one Lucky Star. The total amount of prize money won by UK players was £2,554,569, and that doesn’t include the prize of £1,000,000 that was won by the ticket bearing the Millionaire Raffle number CPP279735.
We haven’t seen the EuroMillions jackpot roll over five times in a row since February. When the sixth game was played after that sequence, the top prize was won by a single ticket that had been purchased in Switzerland. No UK player has been able to match all seven numbers since the very first draw of the year, so maybe this time it will be our turn to land the big one.
For those of you who want to play one or more of the most overdue numbers for the £53 million multi-rollover EuroMillions game this Friday, the main numbers to consider are 47, 18, 06, 09 and 31, and the most overdue Lucky Star numbers are 08 and 01. Visit this page to buy your tickets online and don’t forget to grab a ticket or two for the midweek Lotto game whilst you’re at it – the double rollover jackpot this evening is expected to be worth around £8.4 million! Be lucky!
