EuroMillions Winner Remains Anonymous
The winner of the EuroMillions jackpot last Friday 24 February has completed their claim for the £46.43 million prize, but we aren’t able to tell you who that winner is because they have decided to remain anonymous. Going public is always optional for lottery winners in the UK and whilst some people can’t wait to seize the opportunity to enjoy their fifteen minutes of fame, others prefer to try and keep their privacy intact. This latest winner – who is now the sixth biggest lottery winner in the UK – belongs to the latter group. Whoever they are, we congratulate them once again and wish them the very best for the future.
No player won the EuroMillions jackpot on Tuesday 28 February, so nobody who played the game this week will have to worry about going public or remaining anonymous just yet. The EuroMillions results were 01, 10, 17, 33 and 48, with 02 and 03 being draw as the Lucky Star numbers.
Five tickets matched all five main numbers and one of the Lucky Star numbers to win £136,737 each, and another five tickets won £45,479 each by matching the five main numbers only. There were 35 winning tickets at the fourth-tier prize level and each of those won £3,255 after matching four main numbers as well as both Lucky Stars. There were more than 1.61 million prizes won in total, not including the Millionaire Raffle prize of £1 million that was won by the ticket bearing the number CFZ093351.
Because no player won the EuroMillions jackpot last time around, the jackpot for the next game this Friday 2 March will be worth around £22 million. Of course, before we have the chance to win that particular prize we first have a Lotto rollover jackpot of around £6.8 million to play for on Wednesday 29 February. Buy your lottery tickets online today and if you don’t end this month with a Lotto jackpot win you just might start next month with a EuroMillions jackpot win instead! Good luck!
