Triple Rollover Jackpot this Friday
Updated: Thursday 10th April 2014
EuroMillions players might be forgiven for thinking that Lady Luck has been taking Tuesday nights off in recent months, because last night the midweek jackpot rolled over for the 16th Tuesday in a row. The EuroMillions results for Tuesday 9 October were 02, 08, 10, 23 and 25, with the numbers 08 and 09 being drawn as the Lucky Stars. The jackpot had a final value of just over £27.76 million, so the triple rollover jackpot this Friday 12 October is expected to be worth around £37 million.
10 tickets were able to match all five of the main numbers and one of the Lucky Stars to win a second-tier prize of £80,920 each, and 17 other tickets won £15,866 each by matching the five main numbers without either Lucky Star. There were 54 tickets that matched four main numbers and both Lucky Stars to win £2,497 each, and the total number of prizes won in the Tuesday EuroMillions game this week was 2,090,761. It’s a shame that the jackpot itself wasn’t landed, but one UK player did become £1,000,000 richer by matching the Millionaire Raffle number DMG283601 and the rest of us can try and win the £37 million triple rollover jackpot this Friday.
For anyone who wants to base any of their Friday EuroMillions selections on statistical observations, we can tell you that the most overdue main numbers right now are 47, 32, 40, 14 and 29, whilst the most overdue Lucky Star numbers are 05 and 10. Those of you who prefer to follow the most common numbers will want to consider the main numbers 50, 04, 19, 12 and 38, as well as the Lucky Star numbers 03 and 08.
Whilst we hope that someone succeeds in landing the EuroMillions triple rollover jackpot this Friday, some lucky soul may not need to wait even that long for jackpot-winning success. The midweek Lotto game this evening (Wednesday 10 October) will be offering a jackpot of around £2.2 million, so if that sounds like the kind of sum that would brighten your world as the darker nights draw in, visit this page to buy your tickets online and good luck!
