EuroMillions Triple Rollover Jackpot
Updated: Tuesday 22nd April 2014
Players around the world were hoping that the EuroMillions results for Tuesday 8 May 2012 would win them the double rollover jackpot worth £26 million, but in a repeat of similar events that took place last month, the jackpot rolled over for the third time in a row. That means there will be a triple rollover jackpot that is estimated to be worth around £35 million up for grabs in the next EuroMillions game this Friday. Will it be third time lucky for lottery players hoping to land a big win? The answer is just a few days away!
Six tickets missed out on the jackpot by just one Lucky Star number, and so each of those tickets won a second-tier prize of £116,460, which is hopefully enough to ease the disappointment a little. Four tickets matched five main numbers without either Lucky Star to win €82,156 each, and there is no sterling equivalent for that prize because none of the tickets concerned were purchased in the UK.
92 tickets matched four main numbers and both Lucky Stars to win £1,266 each, and another 769 tickets won £132 each by matching four main numbers and one Lucky Star. The total number of prizes won across all 13 prize tiers in the EuroMillions game on Tuesday was 1,599,618, and one UK player won £1 million by matching the Millionaire Raffle number BMQ382027.
With the next EuroMillions jackpot now expected to be worth around £35 million, demand for tickets is expected to soar as Friday approaches. Our advice is that you buy your lottery tickets online early if you want to beat the rush, and don’t forget that you can also play for a £2.2 million jackpot in the midweek Lotto game this evening! Good luck!
