EuroMillions Jackpot Reaches £85 Million
Lottery players are gearing up for an exciting EuroMillions draw on Friday as there is an £85 million (€105 million) jackpot at stake after last night's draw failed to produce a top tier winner. Friday's draw was set to be a EuroMillions Superdraw with a guaranteed €100 million (£80 million) jackpot but following eight consecutive rollovers, the jackpot has naturally surpassed the €100 million mark which means there will no longer be a Superdraw on Friday.
Although no players won the jackpot last night, eight ticket holders matched all five main numbers and one Lucky Star to win €188,388 each and five players won €100,473 each by matching all five main numbers only.
The total number of prizes won in the Tuesday EuroMillions game was 2,290,448, and the total prize money shared by UK participants was £2,945,919. The Millionaire Raffle number JHS710156 helped another UK player to win a completely separate prize of £1,000,000.
There is always a heavy demand for tickets when the jackpot surpasses the €100 million mark, so lottery players are being advised to enter the game as soon as possible in order to avoid any possible last-minute hiccups. You might also want to enter the midweek Lotto game this evening, where the jackpot is expected to be worth around £2.1 million and the Lotto Raffle will create 50 winners of £20,000 each. Head this way to buy your tickets online and good luck!
