EuroMillions Rolls to Super Raffle Day!
EuroMillions players in the UK were already getting excited about the UK Millionaire Super Raffle this Friday, but the EuroMillions jackpot rolled over for the fifth time in a row on Tuesday 15 May. That will give players this Friday the chance to win a EuroMillions jackpot that is estimated to be worth around £51 million, as well as a chance to win one of 18 Millionaire Raffle prizes worth £1 million each. We make that out to be a £69 million opportunity, and that isn’t including the millions that will be won by players landing consolation prizes!
The EuroMillions results on Tuesday 15 May were 02, 11, 13, 26 and 50, along with the Lucky Star numbers 02 and 05. Four tickets (two purchased in the UK) matched the five main numbers as well as one of the Lucky Stars to win £207,268 each, and there were 14 tickets at the third-tier prize level, each of which won £19,739 by matching five main numbers only.
There were 71 winning tickets at the fourth-tier prize level, and those tickets matched four main numbers and both Lucky Stars to win £1,946 each. 1,138 tickets won £106 each by matching four main numbers and a single Lucky Star, and the total number of EuroMillions prizes won on Tuesday was 2,089,326. In addition, one player in the UK won £1,000,000 by matching the Millionaire Raffle number DNB598158.
Eagle-eyed readers will have already spotted that one of the main numbers we previously identified as being ‘most overdue’ to appear did exactly that on Tuesday, and we are of course talking about the main number 02. Anyone who fancies including one or more ‘overdue’ numbers on their EuroMillions play slips for this Friday will be interested to hear that the most overdue main numbers are now 42, 14, 07, 47 and 12, and the most overdue Lucky Star numbers are 04 and 07.
Whilst the EuroMillions and UK Millionaire Super Raffle games this Friday are of course headline-grabbing events, don’t forget that the midweek Lotto game this evening (Wednesday 16 May) also gives you a chance of winning a jackpot worth around £2.2 million. Buy your lottery tickets for all of these games early to beat the rush and good luck!
