EuroMillions Rolls for Twelfth Time
The EuroMillions jackpot was worth over £123 million last night, and players all over the world were hoping that they could be the one to stop it rolling yet again. Unfortunately, no player succeeded in matching all five main numbers and both Lucky Star numbers, so the jackpot rolled over for a twelfth time, giving us an estimated jackpot of around £138 million to play for this Friday 3 August. Will the first game of the new month – the 13th since the last jackpot win on Tuesday 19 June – prove any luckier than the last dozen draws? We’ll just have to wait and see!
The results that eluded players on Tuesday 31 July were the main numbers 04, 29, 35, 36 and 39, along with the Lucky Star numbers 08 and 09. Six tickets (three of them owned by players in the UK) matched all five main numbers and one Lucky Star to win a very impressive second-tier prize of £281,708 each. A dozen tickets won £46,951 each by matching the five main numbers only, and 64 tickets matched four main numbers and both Lucky Stars to win £4,401 each.
There were over 3.39 million prizes won in total on Tuesday night, and when you consider that Friday EuroMillions games tend to be even more popular than their midweek counterparts, it is a fair bet that there will be even more winners in the next game. Hopefully one of them will land the jackpot itself!
None of the numbers most overdue to make an appearance actually did so on Tuesday, so the most overdue main numbers according to our EuroMillions Statistics page are 33, 06, 09, 41 and 12, with the numbers 05 and 07 being the most overdue Lucky Star numbers. If you would prefer to keep your eye on the most common numbers, the main numbers to watch out for are 50, 12, 04, 19 and 14, as well as the Lucky Star numbers are 03 and 08.
Most lottery players will naturally be focused on the prospect of winning the £138 million jackpot in the EuroMillions game on Friday, but before we get to that draw there is a £2.2 million jackpot to play for in the midweek Lotto game this evening. The most overdue numbers for that game are 32, 31, 02, 17, 16 and 35, whilst the most common Lotto numbers are 38, 44, 23, 40, 25 and 43.
Whatever numbers you choose to play for the next round of Lotto and EuroMillions games, buy your tickets online early to avoid the inevitable last-minute rush, and good luck!
