EuroMillions Rollover Jackpot
Updated: Friday 25th April 2014
A EuroMillions rollover jackpot worth around £25,000,000 will be on offer this Friday 4 September, 2009. This is because no player managed to match all five main numbers and both Lucky Stars in the draw last Friday 28 August. With the new month of September symbolising the end of summer for many people in the UK, having a nice big lottery jackpot to get stuck into will be very welcome, and it could help you to enjoy the autumn and winter months as a multi-millionaire!
The lottery results for EuroMillions last Friday were 8, 36, 37, 41 and 49, and the Lucky Stars were 5 and 7. Although the EuroMillions jackpot itself wasn’t won, eight players did match all five main numbers and one of the two Lucky Stars to win £263,796 – not a bad prize at all for finishing in second place. Another five players matched five main numbers only and won £119,777 each.
As far as the UK lottery is concerned, the winning Lotto numbers on Saturday 29 August, 2009 were 9, 18, 34, 37, 39 and 47, and the bonus ball was number 5. One player succeeded in matching all six main numbers to win the jackpot of £4,908,817. A further 14 players matched five numbers plus the bonus ball to win £107,886 each.
With the jackpot having been won, the next Lotto jackpot for this Wednesday 2 September will be worth an estimated £2.4 million. That isn’t as hefty as the £25 million that is up for grabs in the EuroMillions game on Friday, but it would certainly be enough for you to kick the credit crunch out of touch!
