EuroMillions Rollover for Bonfire Night
Updated: Tuesday 8th April 2014
Bonfire night looks sure to go with a bang for lottery players this year thanks to the EuroMillions game offering a rollover jackpot worth around £18 million on Tuesday 5 November. There is no guarantee that any player will match all seven of the numbers that will be drawn in the first game of the week, but with every ticket purchased in the UK giving its owner a completely separate chance to win a prize of £1,000,000 in the Millionaire Raffle game, it’s a certainty that someone will get very lucky indeed!
The EuroMillions results in the previous game on Friday 1 November were 07, 19, 29, 30 and 33, with the numbers 03 and 08 appearing as the Lucky Stars. Although no ticket won the jackpot, six tickets won a second tier prize worth £151,248 each by matching all five of the main numbers and one of the Lucky Stars. One of those tickets had been purchased in the UK, so well done to the player concerned.
The third tier paid a consolation prize of £21,606 to each of 14 players who matched five main numbers only, whilst 73 tickets matched four main numbers and both of the Lucky Stars to win a fourth tier prize worth £2,071 each. The total number of prizes won in the game was 2,434,548, and that isn’t including the Millionaire Raffle prize of £1 million that went to the UK player who matched the number LLV733803.
A rollover in Friday’s EuroMillions draw made players especially keen to land the top prize in the UK Lotto game, and we are pleased to say that one player succeeded. The winning ticket on Saturday 2 November matched the main numbers 10, 28, 32, 36, 37 and 49 to win a jackpot worth £7,959,312 and get the month off to a flying start.
There were seven tickets that matched five of the main Lotto numbers plus the Bonus Ball (which was 27) to land a second tier prize worth £68,525 each, and 176 tickets won £2,314 each by matching five main numbers only. Another 12,448 tickets won £173 each by matching four main numbers and 256,646 tickets matched three main numbers to win £25 each. The Lotto Raffle game saw 100 players win a prize of £20,000 each.
Whilst the great British weather might put a dampener on actual bonfires this Tuesday, the EuroMillions rollover jackpot should be more than enough to satisfy players who want to see some financial fireworks take off. Click here to buy your tickets online and you may soon remember, remember the fifth of November as the night that changed your life forever! Good luck!
